"The computers at the center help me apply for jobs on-line." see url Cynthia Berkowitz, MD- earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Haverford College and her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  She completed a residency in psychiatry at McLean Hospital and a fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital.  She has longstanding dedication to development of novel psychosocial rehabilitative treatments of severe psychiatric disorders. She came to the Massachusetts Mental Health Center in 2007 and became the medical director of Prevention and Recovery in Early Psychosis (PREP)® in 2015.  Dr. Berkowitz is also the Area Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for the Metro Boston region of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.  Dr. Berkowitz has a passion for helping young people develop independence while feeling great support from their family and community.”
